THE SHALLOT ( Allium cepa )

From results of this research, evidently the roots extract of the Shallot with the dose 250 mg/kg bb, caused the decline in the level of normal blood sugar of 23.46 %.
In giving tolbutamid the dose 250 mg/kg bb orally, showed the decline in the level of normal blood sugar of 22.21 %, and giving of the distilled water with the dose 5 ml/kg bb orally showed the decline in the level of normal blood sugar of 3.00 %.
